Moving UP

Recently we got a cat. I love her even though she tends to nip/bite frequently. She's only a kitten yet so she grow up and mellow out. She is very playful and loves to grab my leg as if she's hugging it.  I'm still getting used to keeping her liter box clean. Its great to have her as a companion especially when my husband goes out of town for work.

I'm trying to get myself on a schedule for cleaning but I just cant seem to follow through with it. I clean when I get to it but when I do clean I tend to do a full clean and then follow through the week with tidying up. I'm also trying to get into doing more of the couponing. I do it on a randomized basis.

I'm trying to get in the mood to cook more frequently. We seem to eat out more often than not and we need to stop it. We need to start cooking because we buy groceries. I wish I was more into cooking but I can't seem to spark the interest in myself. I need to find recipes that look good and get going on cooking.

I'm also trying to get myself motivated to work more on my sorry on a different site. I also want to start a story with a friend to try to get my brain working with its imagination. I need to spark my imagination and get my creative juices flowing. I want to get myself more into reading on a regular basis. I have a few books on my nook that I'm in the middle of but hardly read it now.  I need to get myself on a schedule with reading and studying the bible.  I also want to start playing my guitar and writing music again.

We have a nice house and a great land lord. We are slowly looking for a different place.  Though we do love being back by family and friends.

More of Life

After moving back to the midwest my husband and I are finally settled. We are renting a nice place. After a year of no being able to find a job I found one almost immediately. I work at a wonderful place and enjoy it so much.
We adopted a beautiful cat that is so sweet and renamed her. She is so full of energy. I love her so much though I do wish she was a little less wild at times. I am keeping the place clean and spending time with the kitty as well as working.
I wish I was more interested in writing some more of my story that I started before I moved. But I don't seem to be so motivated to write. I barely seem to be interested in reading as much as I used to. I wish I could get back into it. Though I have been thinking about going back for my masters degree.

Updates

I love being married. I'm going crazy always being at home. I'm having difficulty getting my home business off the ground and even more trouble finding a steady job. I'm missing all my friends from Illinois.
I'm applying places like crazy and haven't heard back from many places. At this point I'll take any job as long as it's honest and I don't have to be in the apartment so much of the time. I am hoping to get some home parties booked and get some orders.  I really enjoy helping with the youth group on Wednesdays.
I sometimes write stories though I haven't been in the mood to lately. I'm working on a few of my own and one with a co-writer.  I post my stories on a journal site to share. I haven't had motivation or inspiration to write.
I've started doing couponing as a saving on what I need.  It never hurts to save a little bit. I wish I would read more...I have several books going at once but yet hardly read them. I wish I could get myself in the habit of reading again.

Really

I'm still trying to get Thirty-One off the ground. I'm getting frustrated with the lack of sales. I haven't had a ton of luck getting parties booked or getting sales. I'm not even so far having luck growing my team.  I have a plan for hosting a joint party with a friend of mine eventually.

I'm back on the job hunt to find a full-time job with benefits. I've applied several places and hoping to hear back from a few for interviews or job offers. There are so many jobs but not much that I'm qualified for or I'm over qualified for them. Its so hard to find a job. The economy blows.

Still helping with the youth group. I'm loving it. I've found a group of teens to connect with and build relationships with. I've also started to think about looking into Universities for Master's programs. But I haven't really decided much or done a ton of looking. Thinking about doing an online program.

Loving every moment of being married but getting annoyed with always being at home all day everyday. Trying to think of a process for a story of my own.  I'm working on a story with a friend.

A lot of New

Since my wedding much has happened.
I moved from Illinois to Oregon. I had a few job interviews out here but nothing came of either of them. I started working with Thirty-One as an independent consultant and have had some good sales months and some not so good.  My husband and I found a church to attend. I found a youth group to help with.  I started working more on a joint story with one of my friends back in Illinois. My husband and I have made a few friends. I went to a Christmas party and a new years eve eve party.

More about the Thirty-One... I just started in August and its difficult to get it up. Since its a home party business its been hard to get home parties. I have had a home/catalog party back in Illinois thanks to my wonderful mother-in-law. A friend of mine out here tried a catalog party for me. The economy makes it hard for people to want to buy items. Plus no one really knows what Thirty-One is in the area that I am. I had two vendor events -one in Nov and one in Dec. The Nov. event went okay no one ordered  or set up a party. The Dec. event went slightly better I got one order and one person picked up the hostess information to pass on- yet I never heard from the ladies friend.  Mostly the events just helped me get Thirty-One out there and let people know who they could order from.

More about the church we found. We go to service Saturday nights since my husband works Sundays. I go back and help Sundays with the youth worship services. I help with the youth group which hosted a New Years Eve eve party. That's quite an interesting idea still wrapping my head around it because I am used to the whole church getting together for a New Years Eve party. We have also attended the young adult group occasionally. The young adult group had a ladies only Christmas party which was a blast.  The friends that I have made are party of the young adult group but also help with the youth group as well.  Most of the friends my husband has are from work.

Other stuff. I've been keeping the place clean and trying to get my business kick started.  I've been building relationships with some of the members of the youth group that I help with . I'm enjoying the change of scenery that I get from what I've had in the past.  On the other hand, I miss every one friends and family back in Illinois.
